It's a feasting that begins on the 11 of the 11. So 11 september they choose a Prince Carnaval and from then they start drawing, building and creating a new float (decorated car) for the next year.There are many Carnaval-associations in Overijssel, especially around Oldenzaal.Half February it's time for a great PARTY!!!At sunday at (normally 13 h.) the parade begins. All cars and people ride through the city-centre of Oldenzaal. People make music, they dance and sing and are dressed like clowns/pirates/musketeer/etc.Everything is possible with Carnaval!!Oldenzaal: sunday 13 h.Losser: saturday 13.30 h.(Enschede also saturday, but Losser has a bigger parade!)Tubbergen: friday (evening) parade with lightsAfter the parade check out the bars and pubs!!!! And drink lots of GROLSCH-beer.Cheers and ALAAF !!!!!!
