Me in Nature reserve "Springendal".

Alphons Says: This is Nature reserve "Springendal". A very nice place for bikeriding ans walking. It is not far from Ootmarsum. Its North of Ootmarsum. With nice water a lot of green en silence spots for rest a while.
Alphons Says: This is a ANWB signpost for bikerijders. The name for that thing is in Dutch a "paddenstoel". (mushroom). you can find this things mostly in forest, dunes etc. special for bikeriders.
The chapel beside the "Kroezeboom".
Alphons Says: Here beside the "Kroezeboom" is a small chapel. I believe that you can marrie here during the summer month's. Here am i with my friends again for a picture.
Alphons Says: Here can you see what i giant big tree it is. The hollow trunk is big enough for me and my friends. its more than 7 meter in contour. A real big old oak. There is a chapel beside the tree.
The "Kroezeboom" by Fleringen.
Alphons Says: This "Kroezeboom" by Fleringen is one of the oldest trees in The Netherlands. Kroezeboom was in the past a tree for mark the land and was mostly a border or by a crossroad. The oak is probebly between the 400 and 500 years old.
Alphons Says: This watermill belongs to the Havezathe "Herinckhave". It has a restauration in 1989. The water is coming from the canal round Havezathe "Herinckhave".
pieter_jan_v Says: The Weemhof is part of the Open Air museum. On one side yoiu find the old fish lakes of the former castle. At the other side you can enjoy the old buildings and objects in th eopen air museum. The local Twente tafel.
