Favorite Dish: We had a mussels gratin with fresh tomatoes, mushrooms and leek. And melted cheese on top. Along with some fries. And excellent Zeelandian fish soup topped with cream foam. Very satisfying lunch at € 17 euro per person.
Strandpaviljoen Boomerang Plaza is run by a family with a lot of enthousiasm.
The crew is friendly.
This place had a side snackbar for fast food, a small indoor restaurant section and a terrace.
View on the Domburg beach is great.
Summer daily 11AM - 10PM
Winter: daily 11AM - 8PM
Favorite Dish: Just dropped in for a refreshment and some nuts.
Strandpaviljoen Noordduine is a sole place at the beach West of Domburg (towards Westkapelle).
I got an "everything simple" feeling from this restaurant.
Nothing fancy, just basics.
Well, the price/performance ratio went towards a high number.
March trough October: Daily
November trough February: Weekends and holidays.
Favorite Dish: I tried a steak, but I cannot recommend it. The desert - Yoghurt Coupe - was OK.
Milano is a nice Italian Pizzaria/restaurant at the East side of the main street.
In the summertime at a fair day this place is crowded.
The crew is well organized and service does not suffer from the number of visitors.
The first floor at the back is to be the nice spot to sit in this restaurant.
Favorite Dish: Onionsoup and Spagheti Genovo.
This is a wonderful place. You can order either a fondue or a barbecue here. We did the barbecue. The waiter lights a grill in the middle of your table, you order fish (white fish, tuna, salmon) or meat (chicken, beef, pork) barbecue, get a spit to put your meat or fish on and you grill it yourself on your tablle.
Along with it you get different sauces, all kinds of chips, croquettes etc and salad. You can order more chips, sauces and salad as often as you like.
The barbecue costs €20 per person.
Favorite Dish: The meat and the sate sauce was very nice. Along with the side orders it was so much (you got 9 pieces of meat!!!) I could only finish the pork and the chicken though.
All the little details in this restaurant are great. The service here was excellent and very friendly. The interieur design which looks like a stable is very nice, too.
When you reserve a table they ask you for what occasion you are meeting there. When you say "birthday" the whole team comes to your table at one stage with a "firework cake" singing Happy Birthday in Dutch. HAHA very embarrassing for the birthday girl but funny was us ;)
Great Italian food!
From antipasti to dolci, and everything in between.
A TIP: go either early or very late. Or you will have to wait in line!
Favorite Dish: We love their pizzas and their pasta.
I had tagliatelle al salmone while my husband enjoyed a pizza frutti di mare.
And gelato for dessert of course!
NIce restaurant with a very (yes VERY!!) good chef!
One of the finest restaurants in Zeeland !
They have a variety of dishes with only the best ingredients!
Fresh catch everyday and specialties of the region.
Favorite Dish: My favourite is the Groot paradys 5 course menu!
You tell the chef what you don't like and the rest will be taken care of!
They also have some exceptional French wines which ( i"m sure) give you immense pleasure!
De IJsvogel is known for its ice cream, but you can enjoy a drink as well at the terrace.
All products are without additives.
Next to the ice cream, the waffles and coffee are famous.
Ice cream is also sold from a classic ice cream truck at the main road to the beach.
Favorite Dish: The Red-White ice cream
The first Badpaviljoen (Bading facility) was constructed in 1837 designed by architecht G.H. Grauss. In 1889 it was replaced by the present building, that had a concert hall, ladies room, billiards room and reading room. It was the meeting place for people that wanted to bath in the sea (badgasten). Many activities like dance events, concerts and lectures were organized. Before World War I the place attracted many noble people; after the War the fortuned people came to visit.
In the 1970-ies the building deteriorated, but was restored in 2008.
The restaurant at the seaside is a great place to visit. They offer lunches and dinners, but also great fingerfood for an in between visit.
Daily: 11AM - 11PM
Halfway our 40 km cycling trip we ended up at this beach pavillion right, built in 1899. Recently restored and reopend as a restaurant with a very fine open kitchen and large terrace with a lounging area and separate (home made) ice cream pavillion.
We were with a group, so I'm not sure about prices as I didn't settle the bill ! I think that about 18-20 euro would be enough for the two-course lunch, coffee and 2 drinks.
Favorite Dish: Enjoyed a well filled fish soup and shrimp croquettes with bread and salad.
De Stenen Toko is a restaurant on the Domburg Westerstrand Beach.
