People have also used the water to come from all over the world. Many of us still have a dream to sail around the world. However, only very few of us make this dream come true....

Nearer home you will find in the Deltawaters of Zeeland a watersports eldorado. Zeeland has as many moorings for yachts as Friesland and the IJsselmeer area put together! Yacht Charter only takes place on a very limited scale, which means a peaceful atmosphere in the harbours.

ZEELAND MARITIEM is based in Goes, in the very heart of Zeeland.

We, ZEELAND MARITIEM, offer you a wide range of services, learning how to sail or perhaps sail with us in our traditional boat in the waters of Zeeland.

The sailing areas lie between Rotterdam and Antwerp.

These areas offer many harbours, located both on tidal and non tidal waters. Antwerp is the well known port and historic city on the Westerschelde in Belgium. It is possible to moor in one of the historic innerharbours, close to the historic city center.

For bareboat charter, you will need to have a knowledge of the rules and have practical experience. However, we can teach you both!

We offer you experienced instructors who have a vast experience of sailing both the Deltawaters and the Northsea.

Silver Goose" is an Albin Singolia, designed and built in Sweden. About 20 of these ships sail in Holland whilst its smaller sister,the Albin Vega, is better known, several hundreds of them sail in Holland.
The yacht has a spacious accommodation, 6 berths together with a berth for the skipper. During daytrips we can take a maximum of 8 people.(see picture)

If you want to dine out, Goes has plenty to offer. In and around the centre there are many restaurants and bistros. They serve meals varying from Chinese rice-tables, pizzas, and tasty traditional Dutch stamppot (`hotchpotch') to fine French cuisine.

In Restaurant "Landbouw"you can have your lunch, diner or just go for coffee, in a very low-price way !

A three course meal costs about 12 Euro.

Favorite Dish: Hot appelpie with vanilla cream sauce !!!

Goes is the entertainment centre for Zuid- and Noord Beveland, and has everything from swinging discos, where you can dance until the early morning, to grand-cafés and the so-called 'brown cafés'. In the summer the Grote Markt and the atmospheric harbour area is the setting for a wide range of events.

Dress Code: Dress code : informal, NO sports clothes.
