    There is not much left of the fish market; just East of the big market square.The word VIS (fish) on one of the walls of an adjacent building are is a recent pointer to the former fish market. When I walked by a small girl said: "That's not a fish! It's a mermaid's tail".

    The Sint Maria Magdalenakerk church is located opposite the Grote- or Maria Magdalenakerk, that was a Catholic church until 1578.The new Catholic church was build from 1905 till 1908. It replaced the Waterstaatkerk from 1815.In 2007 and 2008 the church dome had to be restored.

    Parking at Goes best can be done at a parking garage like the Westwal one. It's a modern garage with over 500 parking spots.
    It's easy to find when you enter Goes from the A58 highway; just follow the signs.
