It was an unexpectable expeirence for me to have the vacation there. Though I was interested in the historic spot, later on of being there,I have found what is in the world...... I felt sad...

There are many restaurants in this little town,serving the best mussels you can get.
But this restaurant located at "Visserslaan" has a unique ambience - look at the many black/white pictures on the walls showing the good old times of the local fishermen.

PHILIPPINE is known for his mussel restaurants. All over the city you find this restaurants. A quiet town where you can have a nice walk.
Via the R 4 (Kennedylaan) direction "Zelzate-west " Via the bridge or tunnel in Zelzate direction "Sas van Gent". There is not that much to see in this area, except if you love to visit "Le plat pays"...
