Favorite thing: One of our specialities is the BOLUS.
Every Baker's sells them by the dozens each and every day.
It is sort of bread, with lots of cinnamon and brown castor SUGAR and sometimes MAPLE SIROP!
I have to admit that they are very sticky but oh, so good, each moment of the day is good for a BOLUS whether it is teatime or coffeetime....

Favorite thing: Everywhere you walk, cycle, drive or are driven around here in ZEELAND you will see numerous signs of this PROVINCE'S significant role in HISTORY .....history of THE LOW LANDS AND OF RELIGION...
Bishops, noblemen, farmers, citizens, invaders and immigrants.......ZEELAND has seen them all pass by...... Century after Century .....and the countryside was green each Spring & Summer with an abundance of fruits and produce.....sometimes there is only very fertile blue sea clay to be seen, so grey, so grey, that will be in Winter.....
But Zeeland will always be Zeeland...........

Favorite thing: DREISCHOR is a very characteristic little village where life is still good.......
It has the NEDERLANDS HERVORMDE KERK (church) in the middle of the village, which place is called DE RING.
Surrounded by water the church really is in pride of place and......the houses around the RING are in perfect condition and the whole RING is in the HERITAGE LIST OF PROTECTED VILLAGES......
The circle of trees gives the RING so much atmosphere, that you would love staying there......in winter I have walked on ice all around the church......no ducks, frogs and waterplants were to be seen then......such a difference with this special summer...........
Never forget that our PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION is RELIABLE, FREQUENT and PUNCTUAL so you can reach every thing your heart would wish to see in no time.....well, a short time!

Favorite thing: Yes, girls also like competitions!
They are working hard to win a prize.....not only during the day of the contest, but all year round.
They train the horse and themselves on the farmyards here around the corner of my house, where the countryside is, the farms, fields, orchards, colouring with each season, that arrives or leaves us for another year!
Always the ORANGE coloured SASH and have a good look at the lance......quite dangerous, so sharp and long that point.....
