Stroskerks Eetuus is a long established restaurant in the Heart of Serooskerke Centre. It has a great terrace overlooking Serooskerke Main Street.
It used to specialize in seafood dishes and had a snackbar, but it changed ownership in the summer of 2003. The legendary couple Andre and Yvon sold the place to enjoy a well deserved retirement.
The new owners offers more variety of complete 3 course mid class priced meals and the meat dishes reputedly have improved.
The snackbar has closed forever, but the bar area in the middle of the restaurant is still open and popular with locals, which involves you may enjoy the bar tales as you eat.

Update July 2005: Take away snackbar dishes are available again.
The lovely owners of this fastfood bar introduced a whole range of foreign food and snacks in Serooskerke.
So besides traditional Dutch snacks like frikandel, kroket or kaassouffle you can also order Chinese or even burgers.
It caters mainly for takeaway but the snacks can be eaten inside as well while they also serve good value meals in the adjacent bar annex petit restaurant (see under "nightlife"-tips).
This is one of the two restaurants that puts Serooskerke on the Cuisine toplist of Zeeland Province.
The restaurant has decent Dutch food, including pancakes made of local (mill-)products.
Its interior is really interesting, full of pre historic - well old at least - farmers tools and some art. The views from the terrace on Mill De Hoop adds of course a lot to its all over ambience.
