Regio Bank annex Bouterse Administration Office

    by Bonobo2005 Updated Jul 19, 2003

Bouterse family, the heart of the business

The only bank in Serooskerke with personnel (the family of Mr. J. Bouterse), that together have an imense knowledge of financial matters of all sorts.

They don't have an ATM (you find one opposit Bouterse at the RaboBank that takes visa and cirrus) and I'm not sure if they change foreign currencies or cash traveller's cheques. Guess not, because the family business originally started as an administration office.

If you're interested in personal financial advice, insurances, opening a savings account or acquire a loan however, you may stop by here.

At this beautiful private garden, sculptures made by Zimbawan artists have been exhibited and sold.

Buying the works directly supports artists from Zimbabwe.

The garden is irregularly open during saturdays in the summermonths

Extra ordinarily good display of products

Just outside Serooskerke Centre you'll find the well known farmers complex of De Zoete Kers (Sweet Cherry).

Here you can buy fresh fruits from their own orchards, like cherries, but also a whole range of interesting regional product such as icecream, goose eggs, apple wine, jam and biological dynamicly grown vegetables.

In summer, De Zoete kers maintains an outstandingly nice located terrace where -usually tourists- can have drinks, including many kinds of juices, and small lunches.
