The tower of the Reformed church dates from the 14th century.
The original church was destroyed in the Eighty Year War and replaced by a much smaller building...
There is only one little tower on top of the big tower, because they couldn´t find enough money to build another three!
The story that I told on the front page was to find a better explanation to a so dull solution.

The picturesque village is part of the municipality of Sluis-Aardenburg. It was independent until 1879. The town received its city charter in 1241.
Orginally known as Ter Muiden or Muden, named after ‘at the mouth’ (muden) of the one-time streams Sindfala, the Budanvliet and the Reigersvliet. The ‘St. Anna’ was added to differentiate it from other Mudens. Before the ascent of Sluis, Muden was the main harbour of Bruges. Silting left Muden landlocked, but in 1445, Duke Philip of Burgundy refused to allow its inhabitants to move west again to a riverside location.
