Het Durp, local pub: Apple pie recommended

by ATLC Updated May 6, 2013

After the bitterly cold oyster harvesting we landed ourselves in the local pub where we were warmly welcomed. It's easy to start talking to the locals here. Everyone was very friendly.

Favorite Dish: Hot chocolate and excellent home made Dutch apple pie. I bet you can enjoy a good pub meal here too.
    Coffee: 1.70 euro
Hot chocolate with whipped cream: 2.70 euro
    Apple pie (appeltaart): 2.30 euro

    Street Market: Friday Market day

by ATLC Updated Jul 1, 2015

    3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

On Friday, there are a few market stalls, selling cheese, vegetables, bread, flowers. It's really very tiny but what can you expect in a small village in a rural area?
We went there after some oyster picking in the neighbourhood to have some hot cocao and apple pie since it was cold and windy.
    Hugely enjoyed that.

What to buy: We didn't buy anything but the stalls were pretty run-of-the-mill and so were the prices.
