I don't know what red diesel is, but the Yachting club website says that this year the harbour inspection will be more alert on the use of red diesel. So I gather this is forbidden. Probably because of danger for nature.

Red diesel is used in agriculture for tractors and other machines. It is cheaper than normal diesel but it is forbidden to use in cars and boats.

Veere is a day trip if you come by car or boat. Of course two days or more is ok too, but basically you will have seen everything in a day or even less.
But it is worthwhile to send postcards from Veere. The place is hugely picturesque.
