The numerous grazings that one sees in the surrounding country are essentially destined to the dairy cows of Holstein race (a race that one designates in France under the Dutchwoman name). The grass is there fat and green, very dark, what indicates a rich in humus soil and very watered.
For what is of one watered soil, I confirm!
Boskoop is well worth a visit by any plant lover who is travelling through Holland. The nurseries are unique and the industrious people are friendly.
