The local professional pop singer. And he's good. Goes through all the old favourites from the 60s to now. This concert was in broad daylight though. On a Sunday early evening in summer. Just around the corner of my home. I'm listening to it as I write :-)
Must remember to hire him for a party, one day.
On New Year's Eve, I'll be bell ringing in Brielle, in the St. Catharijne at midnight:
the Butendicc: 4500 kilo
the Crans: 750 kilo
the Bakker: 350 kilo
alternately and with about 14 other bell ringers, of course! And after climbing 250 odd steps (two thirds the tower).
Then after ringing, I'll drink champagne from a paper cup, wade thru dove poop outside and watch the fireworks from this great height!
Every last Sunday in July, there is the festival Brielle Blues.
From 15 hrs in the afternoon, there will be bands playing on open air stages around town. And after 22 hrs a pub crawl with live bands at all places.
I love blues and wouldn't miss this for the world. The atmosphere is so nice, blues lovers are nice people.
On this day the town's population easily doubles.

During your pub crawl, don't miss Honky Tonk!
There's regular live bands, billiard competitions. And you can watch football matches too.
