This is a picture of a typical Delft building. I love the uniqueness and colour of them. This one caught my eye.
Even if you walk a little bit further than the touristic place, you wil discover some great little corners!
Walking around town, you will notice many beautiful merchant and patrician houses with gables.
Delft is also known as "Little Amsterdam" because of these houses and the many canals.
Another lovely building that we saw during our stroll around the city is this one. Notice the coats of arms above the door. I have no idea what this building is used for.
Wing of the old St. Agatha convent. In the 17th century it was the home to the 4 granddaughters of William of Orange.
It now houses the Ethnological Museum Nusantara

Rent a bike from a shop near the train station and bike around the surrounding countryside. Find a windmill. Revel in being in Holland!
Oude Delft (Old Delft) is a canal and strolling along it you find open boats in the water with outdoor terraces on them. That way the restaurants and coffeehouses and pubs extend their space.
This beautiful old city is full of wonderful typically old Dutch buildings, so spend some time just wandering around.
