Wok Of Fame: eat as much as you can

by Valeggua Updated Sep 11, 2006

    3 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

At this big show cooking restaurant, for 17 Euro p.p (exluding drinks) you can eat anyting you want.
You just walk along the buffets, and if you want, you let the chef 'wok' it for you.

    Well, the concept is familiar...
    capacity :700 persons!

tip: drink the chinese tea, this way you can eat more ;)

    Favorite Dish: Tongfilet, fish!

Tapas Miro: The beer is good the tapas are so so

    by Nathalie_B Written May 23, 2005

After walking all day around Dordrecht we were tired and wanted to find some nice place to relax, have a beer, and something small to eat. The Tapas place sounded like a great place.
This place has 2 floors, bar and some tapas are found on the first floor and the second one is a restaurant.
The service was rather slow, the waitress was too busy chatting with other employees without keeping any eye contact with her customers. After we got her attention we finally ordered the tapas.
I'm not a big fan of this type of food, I'd rather have one big meal in front of me, but some of the tapas were pretty good.
The bar/restaurant is located in the city center right at the Grote Markt which makes it a perfect place to take a brake from the citysightseeing without making too many changes on the route.
The average price is around 3-4 Euro per dish (or should I all it a sample? :)) So if you're very hungry and decided to visit this place make sure that your credit card has high limit

    Eetcafé 't Vlak: Erwtensoep!

by sambarnett Updated Sep 7, 2002

The building that houses this small brown cafe dates from 1616 and it's location in the old harbor is great.

Favorite Dish: Try the erwtensoep (split pea soup, roughly pronounced "air tuh soup"). Although it isn't very thick here, it still sufices on a cold day. The dish comes with smoked bacon on brown bread.

A lunchroom that, according to the IENS restaurant website, is quite good. In summer there's a terrace outside.

Favorite Dish: The generous sandwiches are recommended.
