    This was like a huge swinging sofa with about 50 mad people on it,YES you`re right I did wimp out of this one to !!!!!!I`d just had my lunch !!!!!

    Great ride,especially if its a really hot day and you feel the need to cool down.You have a choice of 2 boats ,one covered the other uncovered,the whole ride last 5 minutes and is brilliant.

    The first acts were good,but they paled into insignificance when....Wait for it..... "Status Kwak" came on to the stage and "sang" Rocking all over the World,or at least that what it sounded like.....It was fantastic family fun,really funny,Billy and Sam weren`t to sure at first but soon got into the spirit of things.

    How can I describe this...I`ll try....You`ve got a 5ft tall frog "Compere" on an electric organ introducing some singing acts...This one was called "Banana Kwakama" taking their name from that other famous threesome,NO NOT The Supremes,But Bananarama.They "sang" their version of Venus,It was hilairious.When they finish their act,some fish pop up...

    This ride was called The Catapault,it winched you back and up to a height of around 50 ft and then let go,off into the air you went,landed in the water and winched you back to the start again.This was the only ride we had to pay for,it was only 50 cents,well worth it.It was Billys favourite ride in the whole park.You had to be 10 or over for this...

    You sit on a 2 seater seat and pull yourselves up on a rope and relese it when you1re at the top,you fall gently to the ground.Great for younger kids...and us adults who have just eaten !!!!!

  • Schumacher junior !!!

    Sam loves his go-karting,as do many children,these were just for the younger kids.The other ones you could hire for 10 Euros a day,very worthwhile.

    This big wheel has a beautiful view of Duinrell and the nearby playground. Duinrell began with this particular playground where you can play on the slides or in the sand. Great fun for the little ones!

    This ride was awarded the ‘Best Water Park Idea’. The boat drops several metres down into the water at great speed. Suit yourself: Stay dry or get wet…… mind you, just watching is great fun.

    This ride consists of two toboggan runs. After being winched 40 metres up into the dunes, speeds of 50km per hour can be reached, during your descent. These runs are closed when it is raining and for your own safety, a minimum height restriction of 1.50 metres applies to this ride.

    The on-site restaurants at Duinrell are pretty dire...There are two pancake houses nearby that you can have stuffed pancakes..however they are pretty dire..tastless and stodgy. Probably best to get as far away as you can in the evening.

    If you're at Duinrell there will probably be a race meeting just down the road at Duindigt (about 10 minutes away)..kids get in free, adults only 6 euros each. Mostly trotting racing. Easy to bet on the tote (1 euro minimum), best bet is just to follow the local tipsters tip in the race card you get given (we had 4 winners on the trot doing...
