This clock tells the whole of Gouda what time it is.
The banister is high but the balcony itself very narrow, so you really have to work your way around the very top of the tower.
You climb past these huge bells. Watch out! If you climb past on the whole hour you'll get an awful loud noise!
When you climb the tower you get a perfect view of the nave of St. Jan. The roof gutters stretch to a total of 2000 metres!

Achter de Kerk is a small street along the side of St. Jan. It means: Behind the church.
