't Oeverbos is considered to be one of the best restaurants in Vlaardingen with Dutch and Belgian cousine. It is located at the bank of Maas and has a great view at the riverside. I had a pleasure to visit it with my colleagues and have a meal there in December of 1995 after an excursion in Hook van Holland and before the excursion in Vlaardingen. But I don’t remember what I ate that day…

Nevertheless the owners could have used a dictionary when opening this new CaribBean Beach Cafe recently this is a great place. On a sunny day I can't imagine any nicer way to spend your time that to sit in one of their giant chairs outside to have a drink and peoplewatch at the beach. We were here on one of the first sunny days of the year 2006 so the service was a nightmare. Waiters and waitresses didn't know the numbers of the chairs and tables yet so waiting times were long. They were friendly though and the day was too nice to complain, anyway.
Favorite Dish: We only had a drink but there were some great snacks on the menu. I'd prefer one of the colourful tables to eat though....
If you really want to explore the Hoek van Holland most beautiful view (see link) you better find your way to this super spot when it is a very sunny day.
Here you will see the ferries, the impressive seagoing vessels and the huge industrial tank-steamers, sailing for the West to the North Sea.
Or coming in, accompanied by pilot-boats.
During the day you may enjoy a snack at the snackbar LENNY, have a drink and just enjoy the most beautiful view of Hoek van Holland.
Favorite Dish: A sack of potato chips will cost about 1.50 Euro, with mayonnaise or peanut butter sauce about 2.00 Euro ...
A croquette, a minced-meat ball, sandwich is about 1.50 until 2.50 Euro and have a coca cola for about 2.00 Euro ... enjoy the snack and drinks.
