If you want to visit the Kaag you have to go across the Ringvaart with the small ferry from Buitengaat. It's a travel of maybe 1 minute, but remember you go across the a provincial border.
The ferry can hold 4 normal cars at maximum and some foot passengers and cyclists.
I recommend to explore the Kaag by foot; a return tickets for a foot pasenger is Euro 0.90.
The ferry is operated by the Ponto company, located at Julianalaan 1A - 2159 LA Kaag.

The few roads on the Kaag island are small, so only cars up to 2.20 meters wide with an axle pressure under 4.8 tons are allowed.
De Kaag can be a one day trip destination. I recommend either to come walking or explore the island using the Kaag as a stopover on a sailingtrip. The Kaag has a hotel and a center for reflection. I recommend those if you look for peace and want to explore the nature.Kaag webcam)more
