If you go downstairs at the Kinderdijk Restaurant, you will find a little store filled with Dutch souvenirs. There is an especially large selection of wooden shoes for sale. You will also find a selection of Dutch cheeses in the dairy section. There is also some cute murals down there and a display of typical Dutch items. The damen (ladies) and heren (men) toilet facilities are down there too.
Outside is a lovely cafe' where you can order coffee, tea and Dutch snacks.

    3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

I though this was a fantastic page with regular photos because my digi-camera at that time was not good enough. The combination of photos and funny titles was welll accepted by the community. To my surprise I got bst five status here. Reasons? Multiples but people like fun.
No shops, whatsoever in this area. Except a ppplace where to have hot dinks and perhaps buy some post--cards...

What to buy: Before getting here, buy a good camera. Believe me! This place could be (it is) source for very interesting pictures...

What to pay: for the camera? the sky is limit. For being aorund inthe small shop at the entrance of the mills complex., nothing.

    Anmadis: Wooden garden windmills

by mvtouring Written Jul 10, 2009

Anmadis is the first shop as you enter the unesco site. They sell quite a number of interesting little souvenirs, some quite big, like the wooden windmills. I am sure it would look lovely in my garden, but how do I get it home?
