Favorite thing: Please note that Madurodum has disabled facilities and their are ramps making the whole village accessible.
There is also a restuarant, a coffee shop and the obligatory souvenir shop
You can pack a picnic and enjoy it in the grounds designated picnic spot with a playground for children
The park is open fairly late according to the seasons
Sept to 14 March, Sept - Dec 9am - 6pm
March - June 9am - 8pm
July - Aug 9am - 10pm
Entrance fee is Euro 12.50 Children 3-11yrs Euro 9 includes colour guide book

Favorite thing: All info regarding the park you can find on the Madurodam website. It also gives info on specail events and exhibitions. Like the worldpress photo exhibition in the summer of 2004.

Fondest memory: I love the miniatures. And especially all the care that has gone into the details. They even add the ice skating platform to the Hofvijver in winter times. When you can really skate on the hofvijver.

A: Google Maps can give you that info www.maps.google.com type in Schiphol to Madurodam for explicit directions.... It is a really fun place to visit!
