River house hotel: Moordrechts only hotel
TheDunno Says: Moordrecht only has one very small hotel. I didn't stay there so i cant really recommend it. It does look like a nice friendly place though

This restaurant has everything you would expect from a typical small village (dorp) snack bar. The staff are excellent, the food is always fresh and if you want to, you can eat in or take away. It's close to the main bridge in the centre of the village and is less than 5 minutes drive from the A20.
Favorite Dish: In Dutch, een brootje frikandel, met mayo
In English, a frikandel sausage in a bread roll with mayonaisse

Wegrestaurant Pleisterplaats Moordrecht is a well organised stop at the A20 highway.
Sercive is professional, fast and friendly.
This place has anything for truckers, businessman, highway patrol and anybody who decides to stop here.
The food selection is great with an above quality level.
Bathrooms and Showers (!) are clean.
Favorite Dish: Just a quick lunch: Bacquet gezond

This is one of the two pubs that Moordrecht has. Its safe to say this isn't the town for some serious nightlife ;-)
But hey....Gouda is close (5km)

This is the ferry over "de Hollandse Ijssel". It leaves right from the centre to the village Gouderak on the other side of the river. It can hold only two cars and a couple of bicycles.
The best way to get to Moordrecht by public transport is to go by Train to Gouda and take bus 190 to Moordrecht.

Moordrecht is a small village in the west of the Netherlands near the city of Gouda. I recently moved here from Rotterdam and I really love it here. Its a quiet village with a nice old centre
