 hdv63 Says:  Near the end of the road at the left side you can see this old pumping-engine "Francois". It was built in 1927 and is not in use since in 1972 the new pumping-engine "Abraham Kroes" took over. Now it's the home of some local scouts. 

 hdv63 Says:  Where the road ends, you can do two things. It is permitted to climb over the fence and walk along the circular canal to the modern pumping-engine "Abraham Kroes" and further to the next village, Moordrecht. It gives you great views at the Dutch polder-landscape!
