Every saturday there is a week market at the Reghthuysplein. The market starts early in the morning (8 - 9) and lasts untill 13:00.
What to buy: You can buy fresh vegetables and fruits, cheese, eggs, fish, cloths and all other kind of things.
What to pay: An old dutch saying is: op de markt is je gulden een daalder waard .
It means every guilder buys you fl 1,50 goods on the market. (Ofcourse you have to pay in Euro now )
Super de Boer: for your groceries
Super de Boer is the shop if you are in need of groceries. Prices are generally lower then prices at Albert Heijn, the other supermarket.
Do your shopping between 9 and 8 or 8 to 8 at saturday. The shop is closed on sundays, as most shops are in our country.
They tend to fill the racks with good early on saturday morning. It can be a little crowded in the isles between 8 and 9.
What to buy: You can everything you need from food and drink to shampoo or toiletpaper.
