There are a few ways of moving around in this wood. You can bike along the shore and just pass by but you can also walk around enjoy the view or when the sun is there take a sunbath.

Ships are passing by constantly because it is the entrance of the Rotterdam Harbour.

There are also some horse roads layed out in this wood.

Located inside the shore woods of Vlaardingen. While you eat you can see the large freight ships entering the Port of Rotterdam.

Favorite Dish: I liked the "Oeverbos Saté" this consist of a cole slaw, fried onions, fries and chicken saté. Niki had a appel pancake which she also liked very much.

Besides the fact this isn't the cleanest water you could find to swim, it can be dangerous too.

If you keep in mind that this is an entrance to the north sea you might understand that the currents can be treacherous.

So just cool of your feet here do not swim you might drown..

Recreatieterrein De Lickebaert Off The Beaten Path

I doubted if i would put this in "Warnings & Dangers because some people wouldn't want to bump into this part by accident.

I decided not to put it there, i think there's no danger in nude people. So if you like to sunbath in the nude you can do so over here too.

If you want to be here go to the part of the Shore Woods Closest to Vlaardingen and you will find it, it is just a small part of the wood and is marked by signs " Naakt Recreatie some of those signs need to be replaced because the are faded.

If you don't want to accidently bump into someone completly nude just stay around the restaurant or along the shore.

Avoiding topless people is hard in when the sun is up because that's allowed everywhere.

I think nothing is wrong with that but if you are a carefull parent keep this in mind.
