Schouwburgplein is a very modern looking square built on wooden panels and steel grilles, beware the hidden fountains though, or alternatively sit and wait for someone else to get wet.
If I am right this is the city hall, with -- yess -- with a tram line!!!!!!!!!! :) Sorry. Nice. Time: 7.15am. Temperature: ~ 5 deg. C. In August...
This is the Nationale Nederlanden skyscraper that dominates the sky (beside EuroMast) in and around R'dam. The picture was taken around 7am...
If you like theatre you might be lucky to see a good performance at the Luxor theatre. The theatre was constructed quite recently with an excellent location and view.
The Potloodgebouw is also a stunning piece of architecture. Not as exclusive as the cube houses, but still great!
The city-centre of Rotterdam has got a lot of stunning stores and warehouses, where you shop till you drop ! One of the most popular ones is the 'Koopgoot', which can be found in the centre.
The 'Court Square' has some of the highest skyscrapers in the Netherlands. Obviously the likes of New York dwarf these, but they are still quite stunning.
