    Shopping Mall: Shopping in Scheveningen

    by Nathalie_B Written Mar 31, 2004

    3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

    Inside the mall

There is a small shopping mall where you can buy mostly clothes, swimming suits (of course) and shoes.
Follow the smell of popcorn to get to the candy store ;-)
The quality of clothes may be a bit better than those thay sell on the boulevard, but still nothing special, really

Palace Promenade: In case it's a rainy day

The South Beach Entrance to the Mall

Although there are many shops and restaurants along the beach promenade, there is also an indoor shopping mall as well. Particularly, useful on days with inclement weather, the mall has a good assortment of clothing stores and shops that cover just about any other need. There is even a bowling alley and a small casino (slot machines).

Open seven days per week 10am – 10pm

    P I E R - Scheveningen: PROMENADE

    pier-promenade-scheveningen

The De Pier always is a very nice place to walk over, to walk in, because it has a glassed-in, roofed over promenade of 300 metres. When sunny weather in summer-time though in winter-time, too, the Pier still is great to go for a walk ... over North Sea's water.

You'll find some very nice shops for now and I guess the products are much better than some time ago. All kind of knick-knacks are waiting for you, donot rush and take your time ...

What to buy: Just follow your nose and taste, walk along the cosy, little shops with leisure-wear, some art, cards, and have a coffee or a real italian ice-cream ... have fun!

What to pay: What you need ... prices are not that bizar,
