On wednesday it is all kinds of world and pop music. Much fun.
On Thursday is the day that DANCE is the item. And it is so fantastic to see the dancers perform in such a beautiful location. Last year it was superb. As it was the year before.
On Friday is the day for classical music. For me the most appropriate in a location as this. But that´s just my opinion.
If you want to be sure to have a seat you can buy tickets beforehand, They're already on sale (from the 15th of july) and cost 5 euro.
The number of seats is limited, so ‘first come first serve’.
There is wheelchair access and (limited) space reserved
No tickets will be available on the nights itself. But since the Binnenhof is a public footpath you can enjoy the performances for free. Seats are only available if not all tickets have been sold out. And if the place gets too crowded, people without a ticket will have to leave..
If the weather is good, it is a very magical ambiance with the Binnenhof as perfect surroundings. For bad whether there will be some cover, but better bring a coat and umbrella. To be on the save side.
Depends on the weather but in general warm. It is outdoors and you stand or sit still for several hours. Leave a Comment

And every year when i see them perform i always say to myself i should go to dance performances more often. Which of course i usually forget during the winter. But i should go and see the NDT more often. All 3 of the groups.

Just because of the celebration of the Dutch Monarchy and Queens Day The Hague (Dutch famous Pop-city and rocking pop-town number one ! ) created and organized KONINGINNENACH, ie Queens Night! This night got so popular with young people, that The Hague had to put down the popularity and refused the most famous pop-artists. Afraid of too mnay people in town,... can you imagine ???
Queens Night KONINGINNENACH starts it celebration in The Hague on the evening of the 29th of April. More than 300.000 people celebrate in the streets, on the (ancient) squares of the Hague, just before going to major parties of 30th of April in the clubs, disco's, dancings. The whole center of The Hague will be fully crowded with dancing drinking en fun making people ...
The Hague boasts the most famous night in the whole of Holland: the eve of Queen Beatrix' birthday, Koninginnenach (to be pronounced with a really broad Hague accent!). After a while we jumped around this year 2007... and had a lot of fun ( drinks too )!!!
Don't miss anything of this event and best local Hague's custom, coming up at Wednesday April 29th 2009.

The Regentenkamer got famous for its exhibition of pieces of furniture, having a nice cup of coffee in the coffee room. Art and Fashion is represented, too, and at Saturday, and some others, you can have a great diner for only some 8 Euro!!!
They just moved to the Kombination in the old centre of The Hague where a lot of events are. Here is the artistic area becoming more trendy and a must for music-, gallery- and fashion-lovers, already compared to the Andy Warhol pop-art galleries in the 60s & 70s.
The Regentenkamer is open at Wednesday until Sunday, 12.00 - 17.00 hrs.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday there will be special performances of music, art and poetry, open until 23.00 hrs.

A foyer shared with an adjacent concert hall consists of 3 levels: the lowest slotted beneath the auditorium tiers, above it a half-moon balcony, and at the top, the well-known "floating skybar". That is the interior!

You can admire here the world-famous Jiri Kylian, one of the greatest choreographers of our time. The ballet will be performed by members of the 3 companies that make up the Netherlands Dance Theatre.
The general theater public got used to it to dress like how you feel, though fashion is the more dressed style. We made some fabulous fashion shoots here, very chic! The place around is classy, trendy and ... very royal! The very word "prostitution" is so complex with too many contradictions. Its history takes a long time back. The Oldest Profession is as common today as it was in ancient cultures, but over the years the way business its run has changed.
European Dutch prostitutes:.. well-known all over to live in Amsterdam's red-light district de Wallen (here prostitution was legalized in 1911). It must have been a radical thing to legalize prostitution, even The Hague had its own lantern-girls.
De Wallen, also known as Walletjes or Rosse Buurt, is the Amsterdam Red Light District. In The Hague you'll find 3 quarters; the Geleenstraat (most expensive), the Doubletstraat (about average) & the Poeldijkstraat (the "cheapest").
For the famous red-light window shopping (Rode Lampjes) take a walk through Scheldestraat, Hunsestraat, Geleenstraat and Pletterijstraat. Or walk up to the Doubletstraat, passing the well-known house of Baruch de Spinoza, famous for his rational philosophy. Not recommended for women on their own... Spinoza would have loved this area!
In former days you could take a cab-drive to see the "window-shopping" area's, ... that is history for now ...
