One can walk to Scheveningen, bout a half an hour walk.
One then passes through the Scheveningse Bosjes, a parc like area.
There also runs a tram and if you aren t into walking you can take tram 10, 17 or 1.
Kijkduin is one of the two seaside resorts of the city of The Hague. The other more famous one being Scheveningen.
Here you will find many cafes and restaurants and as it is the lesser known of the two seaside resorts there are usually less hordes of tourists.
Clouds are part of the water cycle and the most obvious feature in sky. You can "read" the weather patterns which play the head-part for how the weather goes. The links below take you to a great deal of information about clouds.
Colouring clouds have been famous all over the world and, its fame got concentrated in areas like Bali, Hawaii, Caribean. Though you can see colourings clouds in Scheveningen, The Hague, as well. With sunset our Sun plays its leading part like at my photograph I took in winter-time ... I was so amazed to see the red in that way in Holland.

Clouds Of Suspicion
Scheveningen started as a small fishing village but is now more famous as a seaside resort. It's not far from Den Haag and can easily be reached by tram.
Scheveningen is also famous world wide for the North Sea Jaz Festival which held here sometime during July of each year.
The beach itself is very popular with surfers and bathers alike but be forewarned... the water is c-c-cold!
If you go for a walk in the Keizerstraat, Scheveningen, you could head for the beach and, walk along the Scheveningen boulevard to the Pier. You'll pass (at the end of the Keizerstraat) a beautiful statue of a fisher-woman. She's the patroness of the fisher-women, close to the Old Church. She is mourning for them who never returned from sea. The statue has been created by artist Gerard Bakker in 1982. She reminds me of Deae Nehalennia, the only Goddess of Dutch origin ...
TO SCHEVENINGEN
Head towards the 'bungee jumping' sign, for not only some cool screams to hear, but to get away a little from the massive crowds of the main beach. Still busy, but at least the smoke and noise is dulled.

Definitley worth the hot smelly tram ride from the Hague central train station, about 10 minutes away, and here you can see the beginnings of a sand sculptor getting ready for the big competition this week
I can't understand why nobody has mentioned this before!! But Zwarte Pad is really one of the coolest places to be in the summer. It is more for the younger people. Zwarte pad is a line of bars en clubs together, the wood and al looks really rotten and shipwrecked but it really is the place to be. That is ofcourse if the weather allows it. When the weather is good (so only in the summer) you can find a lot of young people over here (about 20 years old) sitting, drinking wine, making small fires and clubbing! Really really nice! It depends on the parties an events but sometimes there are some secret parties going on with the best dj's you can imagine.
It is the same direction as Scheveningen but then further, you can walk or take the tram. Take tram 8 for example. If you go on the beach, walk the opposite direction of Kijkduin, you will find it after 15 minutes, hidden behind the dunes. Have fun!
Who would believe that it is possible to find a camping site in The Hague? Kijduin Park is located about 15-20 minutes bus ride away from the city center. As I already mentioned Kijkduin is a small beach resort that is less known and crowded than Scheveningen.
In the Kijkduin park you can bring your own tent, rent a bungalow or villa depends on the amount of money you're willing to spend. This camping site is situated a few meters away from the beach and within a walking distance from Ockenburg sports center and of course you can always catch the bus and go to the city of The Hague.
One thing you have to remeber, if you're under the age of 21 you wan't be able to stay at the place unless you're accompanied by adult.
And one more.... if you're planning to stay at Kijkduin Park during a summer time, make sure to make your reservations in advance otherwise you won't find anything available, evn a tiny spot for your tent ;-(
