If you stay here, use a suitcase or backpack.

It can rain here, just like in the rest of Holland. For autumn, winter and spring: take a (rain)coat, good walking shoes and an umbrella with you. In summer take a lightcoat with you. Most of the times you won't need it in summer, but in the evening it can be useful.

Film for your camera is here. The quality is good. Also developing your film in an hour is possible. The quality is good, the price is high. (25 / 30 guilders or 10 / 15 dollars is normal for this service)

Depending on your own taste a small, city backpack ...
Recommended is a cooler bag for drinks (going to the parks, dunes and beach)

Coastal The Hague has a moderate coastal climate with some cool summers and mild winters. Ofcourse the modern times brought some changes. February, March, April and May may be the driest months. June and October are typically wet months. Though it can be opposite, too!

A raincoat and umbrella is a need in Holland, ... sunglasses too
Take comfortable shoes and some upmost fancy ones
    Check the Holland weather >>>
    Weather-Holland

Pharmacy is open on Saturday & Sunday (see any phonebook)

    local voltage - 220V AC 50Hz

Films are about the same prices, take some films with you, although it's possible to buy films at petrol-stations and the Central Station,
take as large memory card as you can, in case.

    Digital products >>>
    MediaMarkt

Remarkable phenomenon: there are more sunny hours on the coast than there are inland. So >>>

    Bathing clothes, towel and sun-tan
a cooler bag for drinks (going to the parks, dunes and beach)

    tipping
The Hague loves its tips (even not necessary), a 15% service charge is normally added to the bill. So it is customary to leave small change, and to give small tips to porters and taxi drivers.

A smile and being like a friend open a lot of doors ...

  • If going in winter pack hat, mitts, scarf, I was cold! Mind you, I'd just come back from Egypt so I hadn't acclimatized.
Comfy walking shoes are a must if you are doing one of the walks around the city, they last upwards of 2 hours.

Bring a good camera with a wide angle lens for getting great pics of the beautiful architecture. Film is readily available in the city.

The famous Palace of Peace can be visited sometimes, when the court does not meet. If you want to visit it, you can ask at the VVV tourist offices on which days it is open.

  • Water repellant bags and luggages.

Warm clothing, comfortable shoes, Parka jackets, umbrellas, moisturizers for face, lips and hands, hats, scarf.

    Lots of facial tissues, moisturizers.

    whatever you have.
In case you have digital cameras lots of memory cards. Converter in case you need to recharge your batteries.

Good lungs, since most of the public areas smoking is not prohibited or not necessarily a designated area for non-smokers. The only place I see non-smoking is at the trian.
