Well, I was freezing so the Warme chocomel (hot chocolate) went down really well, especially since it had whipped cream on top!
I can't speak the language in the Netherlands, can only identify a few words, so ordering in a restaurant is quite an experience. I ended up getting (okay I wrote it down in Dutch) Hagenees rijk gevulde sandwich met ham, kaas, chorizo en worst in een heerlijke pittige tomaten-roomsaus, geserveerd met frites. Basically bread, sausages, cheese covered in tomato sauce and served with french fries. Leave a Comment Theme: OtherDirections: the Passage. The restaurant is right at the junction pictured, where they had a Christmas tree up as it was the end of November.
