It's situated in a very rustique part although it's in the center of the center. In the shop you can buy al sorts of things like soaps etc. But you can also get some very good massages or other treatments that are really worth it!
What to pay: You don't book a treatment but time. 30 minutes is 40 euro. But you can also get a manicure, pedicure, your hair styled etc.

First attracted by the window all in orange, we went in the shop and discovered a few cool things we soon passed on. Fortunately for us, the shopkeeper was very friendly and accepted pics (this is seldom the case, I can tell you !). So we tried everything possible there ! A good address if you need a special outfit for a special occasion. Thanks again "Meneer Coelho" ;-)

When souvenir shopping I love to buy stuff that I can either eat or drink and get some holiday feeling back, or I buy books, or I buy stuff that is used in the kitchen. "Lifestyle" is a chain with 15 stores in Holland, and they have beautiful things for your house, frames for pictures, furniture, candles, mirrors, cups, plates, cutlery, and all the other nice stuff you would maybe not buy at home but makes the perfect souvenir :-)
Let me know if you need the list of the 15 cities where to find Lifestyle :-)

They great thing about this DINO is, that it is located just a few minutes from the hostel!
What to pay: 1.22 Euro for 600g of black and white Hagelslag

This shop is a part of the City Mondial too. It sells antique as well as modern furniture from China. At Orientique you can buy everything from lamps to sofabeds, just make sure that you have enough money ;-) The store is huge, and it is nice to look inside, even if you don't gonna buy anything, just pretend you're in a museum!

At this backery you can get a so-called Haagse Kakker ((Haagse) Kak is used to describe a person who is a bit of a snob). The Haagse kakker is a huge currant bun. The bun displayed on the picture is actually not a Haagse kakker (i couldn't eat that by myself) but the small variety called a wassenaarse something (forgot that).

This store sells food and drinks that are being brought to The Netherlands form Iran. Sweets, spices, food and drinks all this can be found in this little store. And if you're in a mood to smoke nargila you can do it right there, while shopping.
Gazaar is located in the multicultural district of The Hague which is called City Mondial.
What to pay: Depends on what you buy and how hungry you are ;-)
