Governmental The Hague, The Hague
According to my guidebook, the governemtn buildings in the background are known locally as 'The **** & ****'.
The Binnenhof, in the center of The Hague, hosts the Dutch government (althought the representative capital is Amsterdam)!
This is a photo of miniature Binnenhof in Madurodam.
The Binnenhof has been our political center for a long time. The buildings are beautiful, and build in or around the 13th century. Guided tours can be taken from Monday to Saturday.
When you visit the Hague be sure to visit the government center.
The Hall of Knights has been made in 1248.
Old Town Hall
The oldest portions of this building date between 1561 and 1565 and were done in the Renaissance style. It's one of the oldest buildings in the center of the city.
This very controversial building by the architect Meyer is reflected in the glass-covered wall of the theater standing beside it.
