All IMAX films are in Dutch, English translation available by earphone (0,75 Euro each).

Omniversum

The museum offers large-screen films about nature, culture and science, projected on a 840 m2 giant dome.
It gives you the feeling that your actualy there.

Visit the Omniversum, an IMAX Dome theater.
The IMAX Dome experience wraps the audience in images of unsurpassed size and impact, providing an amazing sense of involvement. The giant dome screen, 100 feet (30 meters) in diameter, and high-fidelity sound encompass the audience, putting them in the centre of the action. To preserve the maximum number of seats, the “Rolling Loop” projector is raised from the projection room below into a “doghouse” just large enough to accept it, while film reels and operator remain below.

Go and watch the movie 'Everest' - it was the most wonderful film I have ever seen about the mountain and the stories around.. Very impressive!!!

If your Dutch is not so good or non existant - bring headphones! The film will be shown in Dutch but you can plug in headphones next to your seat to hear the original version. The ones you get are only for one ear so bringing your own is probably a good idea.

'Normal' films in the Netherlands aren't dubbed luckily!
