some people say that the nightlife of different cities in Europe has its own characters. yes i agree, but what i saw when i was there, it's pretty quiet even in Paris at night, but that does not mean that the city dies away when the night comes. :)around the la tour eiffel and those areas, you will see people come and go all the time.
We visted the red light district which is did find a little weird, purely because I have not seen it before. Live sex shows and shops are a big tourist attraction and its worth going just to see what its like!!! Casual/smart dressed.
THE SCHMENGE BROTHERS (John Candy & Eugene Levy) Stan and Yosh Schmenge, The Schmenge Brothers, are a world- class polka band. These Leutonian pop superstars made quite a splash in the USA with their 1984 MTV music video 'Power to the Punk People (Polka)', which Time called one of the top twenty videos of the year. The miraculous rise-and-fall of The Schmenges is documented in a feature film entitled, The Last Polka, which aired on HBO in 1985.
If you happen to be in Timisoara make sure you get a chance to go to Park Place, the club is off the hook. Guys, I guarantee you will think you died & went to heavan, take my word on that, and girls I promise you will not be dissapointed... You can pretty much wear whatever you feel comfortable in. Seems that the less clothes girls have on, the more comfortable they are, but there never were any complaints!
An incredible number of bars and discos spread over the old part of the town. There are so many it is impossible to visit them all!The place starts picking up at around 8 on friday evening and doesn't stop until Sunday. If you know where to go that is. In Madrid, nightlife is looooong !!, you will not stop until the morning !!!, girls everywhere, lots of places, fun...Puerta del Sol area is the best! You find all kinds of people, from everywhere! It's CAPTAIN COOK'S! Once you're in, you can't leave! Plus it's right in the heart of fast-paced, everything-you-need-in-one-spot Lausanne. The Lausanne Cathedral is a great romantic spot, and nearby 'boites' (disotheques, bars, etc.)filled with people make a great fun-filled eveningThe best thing about Captain Cook's is that it's right in the heart of Lausanne. The place serves great food at reasonable prices, from about mid-morning on, and in the evening, the place is rockin' with lots of people and good beers. You're bound to meet someone, especially since there's a genuine 'local' feel, mixed with plenty of foreigners and 'outsiders'.. plus, when Cook's closes, you swing on down to it's sister spot, .... for theme dansing! Dress code: It's whatever you feel comfortable. I've seen people weara t-shirt and jeans (usually the Americans) to semi-dressy (black crop shirt and black jeans)...
It's a really awesome club that does get some American visitors and many locals. They have theme nights, and international students get in free every night (just have to ask for the card at the door). They also get a free 9pm buffet on Wednesday night. Wednesday night is free for everyone. Drink before you go because drinks cost 8 euro a piece.
