Favorite thing: Inside the church, hanged on the walls, informative boards are presenting the history of both the stave churches in Norway and Gol stave church in particular.
Interesting to study is the pictures presenting a section of the stave church offering in this way the possibility to easily identify the features of these particular churches.

Favorite thing: At the entrance to the Gol stave church site, a small shop is selling typical Norwegian souvenirs such as trolls' statues, hats or Norway flags.
The shop is also selling refreshments.
