The shop is selling sweaters :) and all kind of small things you are expecting to find in a place like this... I have spent some time and some money here.
What to buy: OK...this will be up to you...the offer is wide enough to cover your expectations.
What to pay: My opinion is to think about this before going inside.
I have paid about almost 300 euros for two "original sweaters" Dale of Norway...

What makes it so special... perhaps the location:)
What to buy: In that central market use to sell some sami locals, usually hand made traditional objects (pullovers. knives, shoes, reindeer furs and so on. You can find very easy also some chinese things or the normal T-shirts. Anyway I can reccomend you to buy the T-shirts from here (at about 120 NOK). I have bought one in a shop with 365... the same model like the cheap one.

In the market square you can find traditional local items as food items, clothing and handcraft souvenirs. Items are very expensive in general, but still they are usually original and you don’t find such in any other place, so, choose carefully, at list have some small souvenir from this beautiful land.

Our coastal steamer had an early morning call at Hammerfest, the northernmost incorporated town. We did not disembark, but were able to get some very nice photos.
