Everybody has heard of the midnight sun. But who has heard of the mid day sun? In Finnmark the sun does not rise above the horizon at all a couple of months! These pictures are taken in january, one of the first days the sun could be seen. Meaning they are taken around noon!

When thinking of nightlife we usually think about dark as well, but here in the summer it is day light all the time, so no matter how late you will go out and return home, it will be day time ;-)
