The island has much more to offer then the North Cape. It has an unique but also vulnerable landscape. Travel by foot through this sub-arctic region provides a great experience.
Please keep on the marked tracks and do not build such cairns like most tourists do. It looks ugly and destroys the ecosystem!
Geiranger fjord is one of the most beautiful fjords in the world - we hiked up a mountain (Dalsnippa) and we were able to see our cruiseship on the fjord :-)
