Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Dont expect to find tropical temperatures in Vardø !
However the warmest ever recorded in Vardø is 27C while in winter it seldom drop below -10C although days with even below -15C do happens from time to time. Because of its cool climate there is only one tree in Vardø. In order to keep it alive it is coverd by rugs in winter and then 'undressed' when summer arrives ! PHOTO: VARDØS ONLY TREE.
