from Krokeide south of Bergen u can get the ferry to Hufthammar on the north side of the main island

and from the Bergen airport -Flesland u also can get a speed boat to hufthammar

from hufthammar there goes buses across the island

once a year the have costal days here in Bekkjarvik in 2004 it was in august 2005 it was in september
lots of boats comes in to the habour and on the saturday there is a marked, concert, show etc
