Tipping is not complimentary but if u want tip 10%. People are normally unformal and a short 'hei!' will do it ..(f.n. 'hello' )Smile and be polite ..gets you much longer as Norwegians are normally shy ... (when not partying) Alcohol is very expensive in norway but try the local beer Hansa. Foreigners are normally taken good care of ! Norwegians are week end drinkers and this might be strange for foreigners used to a more liberal alcohol practice.
