Kvarteret is the student house in Bergen.
Here you can go for a coffee in Stjernesalen (the star hall), a debate in one of the many debate rooms, a show or theatre in the upstairs, a concert or a disco in the basement, or just chill out in the pub. Cheep beer and lots of lively boys and girls:)
You don't have to be a student to go here but you have to be over 20 to get in. They sell beer and wine but no hard liquor.
This Building is right on the harbour front next to the fish market and is teeming with cafe's and bars where you can sit outside until midnight as it stays light that late in the summer or you can head indoors like we did to sample the Norwegian karaoke which i have to say was sounded better than any karaoke in England that i have heard recently although my rendidtion of Robbie Williams went down a treat :-)
