If you happen to be lucky enough to stay in Bergen when it's snowy (it rains almost all the time in winter, doesn't it ;)) it's time to head up on Floyen for some skiing. The tracks are really not that good for "serious" skiing, but surely good enough for anyone who tries to learn cross-counrty skiing. It's great fun!!
Equipment: Equipment for nordic skiing (shoes, sticks and skis).

Brann Bergen is the local football club. No, I did not went to see any football while here but it was somehow fun to have a drink in the pub while all of the fans are gathering around and singing some football songs. If anyone is interested, please submit your private e-mail, I will send you .avi clips of them ;-)

If you want to ride horses (or ponnies) while in Bergen you can contact the local ridingschool - Epona Rideklubb.
I ride there myself, and I recomend it!

The local soccer club, often compete in European ties but 2003 having a miserable time and are bottom of their league. Missed a game by around 2 hours. *$!!/? it!
