Gamlehaugen - the Castle, Bergen
It is a small castle, but it's the only one we have :-)
The name is "Gamlehaugen" and is the Norwegian Kings residence when he is in Bergen.
It was built in 1901 in the style of a Scottish castle.
It is open to visitors when the king is not there.
The gardens are free for all to use, and there are no restrictions. One of the good things living in a peaceful country :-)
