To make a complicated theme easy: Don't park on the street in Bergen! The rules are complicated, and mostly you are simply not allowed if you don't have a special permit issued to residents. Except for a very few parking meters, you will for sure get a high parking ticket. The solution is to simply use the very good parking houses and pay the fee it costs to park there. There is also a free bus service that will take you about town from the most centralised parking houses.
DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU FACE A MOOSE CROSSING YOUR ROAD AFTER A CURVE ? I had my life's fear.
So drive quietly and remember there can be suddenly a baby moose crossing without checking on the right, on the left ... anyway most roads I have been to are limited de facto to 60-70 so...
In Bergen the best way is use your own feets!!!
If you want visit the Aquarium you can use a little Ferry at the harbour.
