The last leg of the Nutshell tour from Oslo

by bpacker Updated Apr 21, 2005

    3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

The wonderful Norway in a Nutshell trip ends with a train ride from Voss to Bergen. The ride was quite nondescript save for the typical Scandic countryside scene of grazing cows. When the train pulled into Bergen train, bright neon lights greeted me and my weary travelling companion.

    Cost of Train Ticket
?I don't know since I paid NOK 840 for the complete Nutshell trip between Bergen and Oslo. Tickets were available at the Oslo Train Station.

    Getting there...

We went to Bergen on the "Norway in a Nutshell" tour which was well worth spending a day doing. The trip lasts the whole day (arriving in Bergen around 8 pm) but we saw some amazing scenery along the way. We took trains, buses and a boat on the tour...

Then we took a train from Bergen to Oslo. It was a direct trip and took about 7.5 hours.
