Espevær Travel Guide

This ring showed up one night in 1975. They simply call it the UFO ring as nothing explainable could have made the ring in the ground. There have been university people there and people from the military, but so far no explanation as to what could have made it.
The ring is oval, and it seems as if something very heavy landed as the ground is depressed. The night this happened, several strange things occurred on the island.

Since Espevær is a small group of islands off the coast, you need a boat to get there. Most people use the Espevær Expres that takes only 10 minutes from Eidesvik on the larger island of Bømlo. During the summer months many also come out there on their on boats.

A small part of the village is on a smaller island, and to get there you use a cabel ferry. You just put 5 nok in the slot, and the chain pulls you over.

Somebody once used a UFO to get here.....
