Sotra Things to Do

The island of Sotra covers the municipalities of Sund, Fjell and Oygarden. All of these areas have good birding localities. Sea watching at Golta, Skogsoy and Svellingen is good for visible migration especially in May when on a good day you can see all four species of Diver or large flocks of Barnacle and Brent Geese on their way north to their arctic breeding grounds.
