Great place for a restaurant, excellent view of fjord and mountain ranges. You can also see the ferry crossing from here to the town of Molde.
Favorite Dish: Tasty French fries with 'salat' and 'ost (cheese) og dressing' respectively. Quick service, very good, and very authentic atmosphere!

Pelle and Johan is a very popular bakery, they bake everything from scratch which is a definitive factor to their incredible success. The actual production is done i a nearby village, but their products are sold in their own outlet in downtown Åndalsnes.

Serving Pizzas, Steak/Meat, Kebab, Pasta and Salads. Desserts. Wine and Beer. My favorite restaurant in Åndalsnes, I think they have the best food in town. The restaurant was a bit worn the last time I was there, but I drove by there in July 2007 and saw that they had made a large outdoor area just above the electronics store. So I assume they have been doing some renovations lately.

During the summer the Grand Hotel sets up a temporary outdoor restaurant on the pier in downtown Åndalsnes. Sitting down here for meal or a drink on a sunny day is just great.
Favorite Dish: It is over a year since I had a meal here, so I don't remember then menu, but the food is good.
